About the Role

VeraCodia is seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile App Developer to join our team on-site at our Damascus office. In this role, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications, participating in code reviews, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform and native mobile applications (React Native, Flutter, iOS, and Android).
• Code Quality & Review: Perform thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high code quality standards across the development team.
• Agile Collaboration: Adapt quickly to join and support the software development process at any stage as needed.
• Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate seamlessly with UI/UX designers and backend developers to integrate APIs and ship new features.
• Optimization & Debugging: Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and optimize application speed and responsiveness.
• Communication: Maintain clear and professional written and verbal communication in English with team members and global clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Core Framework: Strong, hands-on experience with React Native (Required).
• Code Mentorship: Proven ability and comfort in reviewing peers' code and offering constructive feedback.
• Language Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Technical Essentials: Solid understanding of Git version control and RESTful API integrations.
• Work Arrangement: Full-time availability to work on-site at the VeraCodia office in Damascus.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience publishing and managing applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Previous experience working directly with international clients and remote teams.
