Role Overview
The Director of SocialEye will lead the strategic vision, positioning, and commercial growth of SocialEye as a leading influencer and creator marketplace in the MENA region. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, marketing, product, and revenue—driving how SocialEye connects brands with creators while unlocking scalable, recurring commercial opportunities.
This is not an operational role. It is a growth, positioning, and market-shaping role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the overall strategy of SocialEye across markets (UAE, KSA, Egypt, etc.)
- Position SocialEye as a premium, data-driven influencer marketplace, not just a transactional platform
- Identify new business models (subscription, SaaS, managed services, licensing)
- Build a clear roadmap for scaling creator supply and brand demand simultaneously
- Continuously assess market trends, platform shifts, and creator economy dynamics
2. Market Positioning & Brand Development
- Develop and own SocialEye's market narrative and value proposition
- Establish SocialEye as a thought leader in the creator economy in MENA
- Define clear differentiation vs. agencies, marketplaces, and global platforms
- Work closely with content and PR teams to drive:
- Thought leadership (articles, reports, insights)
- Industry presence (events, panels, awards)
- Strategic partnerships
3. Commercial Growth & Revenue Strategy
- Identify, open, and scale new revenue streams:
- Brand partnerships
- Retainer-based influencer programs
- Performance-based campaigns
- Creator subscription models
- Work closely with sales teams to:
- Package SocialEye into clear commercial offerings
- Integrate into 7awi's broader ecosystem (content, events, PR)
- Build scalable solutions for:
- Always-on campaigns
- Creator communities for brands
- Long-term ambassador programs
4. Creator Ecosystem Development
- Define strategy to attract, segment, and retain creators (nano to macro)
- Build frameworks for:
- Creator onboarding and growth
- Incentive structures and monetization
- Quality control and brand alignment
- Position SocialEye as the go-to platform for serious creators in the region
5. Product & Platform Evolution
- Work closely with product and tech teams to:
- Define platform features that drive growth (matching, bidding, analytics)
- Improve UX for both creators and brands
- Integrate AI into campaign matching, pricing, and performance tracking
- Ensure SocialEye evolves into a smart, data-led platform—not just a directory
6. Marketing & Demand Generation
- Lead go-to-market strategies for SocialEye:
- Launch campaigns
- Partnerships with agencies and brands
- Integration into 7awi media assets
- Drive inbound demand through:
- Content
- Case studies
- Success stories
- Build SocialEye into a recognized brand, not just a backend tool
7. Partnerships & Ecosystem Expansion
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with:
- Brands and agencies
- Platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube)
- Creator communities and networks
- Explore regional and global expansion opportunities
8. Performance & KPIs
- Define and own key metrics such as:
- Revenue growth (monthly/quarterly)
- Number of active campaigns
- Creator acquisition and retention
- Brand acquisition and repeat rate
- Platform engagement and conversion rates
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks with leadership visibility
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 10+ years in digital media, influencer marketing, platforms, or marketplaces
- Proven experience in building or scaling a product/service from zero to growth
- Strong commercial background with clear revenue ownership
- Deep understanding of MENA creator economy and social platforms
