About the Job

We are looking for a Cloud Storage Engineer to bridge traditional storage reliability with the agility of Software-Defined Storage (SDS). You will manage high-performance storage clusters for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms, building scalable, automated storage pools in a high-concurrency cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• SDS Architecture & Management: Deploy, scale, and maintain SDS solutions (Ceph, vSAN, Nutanix) for block, file, and object storage.

• Storage Automation: Integrate storage provisioning into cloud orchestration for self-service allocation.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize I/O throughput and minimize latency for high-demand applications.

• Lifecycle & Capacity Planning: Monitor consumption trends and manage hardware lifecycle.

• Data Integrity & Protection: Implement robust backup, snapshot, and replication strategies.

• ITIL Compliance: Follow ITIL frameworks for Change Management and Incident Response.

• Linux System Integration: Manage storage drivers, multipathing, and volume management in Linux.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certifications:

  • SDS platform certification (e.g., Red Hat Ceph, VMware vSAN, Nutanix).

  • RHCSA required; RHCE highly preferred.

  • ITIL Foundation required.

• Hard Skills:

  • Storage protocols: iSCSI, NVMe-oF, NFS, S3-compatible Object Storage.

  • Networking for storage: RDMA, RoCE, 40/100GbE interconnects.

  • Scripting: Python, Bash, Ansible.

  • Enterprise storage hardware knowledge.

• Experience & Soft Skills:

• 4+ years in data center storage, 2+ years with SDS.

• Bachelor's in CS, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.

• Collaborative mindset for cross-team integration.
