About the Role

VeraCodia is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across our software products and platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong visual design skills with a deep understanding of user behavior to deliver engaging, accessible, and business-focused solutions for clients in the banking, telecom, and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

User Experience Design

• Conduct user research and gather business requirements to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Create user flows, customer journeys, information architecture, and wireframes for web and mobile applications.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Design user-centric solutions that improve usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction.

User Interface Design

• Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and visual designs for digital products and platforms.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across products.
• Design responsive interfaces optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and business objectives.

Collaboration & Product Development

• Work closely with Product Managers, Business Development teams, Developers, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in product discovery sessions and contribute to feature definition and prioritization.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Provide design specifications, assets, and guidance during development.

Testing & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to validate design decisions.
• Analyze user behavior and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Continuously iterate and enhance existing products based on user insights and business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design for web and mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and successful product outcomes.
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and usability best practices.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
• Availability to work full-time from VeraCodia offices (remote work is not available).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing solutions for banking, fintech, telecom, or government digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design methodologies.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and responsive design principles.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
