Infrastructure & Digital Workplace Lead

Job Description:

Job Purpose:
Owns service levels for corporate infrastructure and digital workplace services, including servers, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, end-user computing, endpoint management, service desk, device provisioning, backup and disaster recovery, storage, infrastructure monitoring, IT operations, software licensing and IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own service levels for corporate infrastructure and digital workplace services.
  • Manage the MSP relationship for service desk, endpoint and infrastructure support.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery readiness, including testing schedules.
  • Own the IT asset register and software licensing compliance.
  • Escalate and resolve infrastructure incidents beyond the MSP's scope.
  • Coordinate infrastructure and digital workplace activities with business requirements and IT governance.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum Experience: 8+ years of relevant infrastructure and digital workplace experience.
  • Relevant Industry Experience: Enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Technical Competencies: Server and cloud administration, endpoint management, backup/DR, Microsoft 365, IT operations and MSP governance.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience coordinating MSPs or outsourced technical delivery teams.
  • Certifications: Microsoft 365 or Azure certification preferred; ITIL Foundation is an advantage.
