Job Description:
Position Summary
The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading Clinlab.AI's marketing strategy and execution across brand, demand generation, executive communications, digital marketing, public relations, events, partnerships, and commercial marketing. This role owns the company's market presence and works directly with the CEO and executive leadership team to position Clinlab.AI as the leader in AI-powered laboratory operations while supporting revenue growth, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and exceptional execution. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing long-term marketing strategy, writing executive communications, launching integrated campaigns, managing agency partners, and producing high-quality marketing assets.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute Clinlab.AI's integrated marketing strategy, aligning brand, demand generation, thought leadership, partnerships, and commercial initiatives with company growth objectives.
Establish marketing priorities, budgets, KPIs, and executive reporting, using performance data to optimize campaigns, allocate resources, and maximize marketing ROI.
Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, competitive positioning strategies, and growth initiatives that strengthen Clinlab.AI's leadership within the laboratory AI market.
Build annual and quarterly marketing roadmaps that align with product launches, commercial priorities, conferences, and strategic partnerships.
Brand & Corporate Marketing
Own Clinlab.AI's brand identity, messaging, positioning, and visual standards across all customer-facing channels, ensuring consistency, quality, and differentiation.
Lead the development, management, and continuous improvement of corporate marketing assets, including the website, sales presentations, product collateral, one-pagers, leave-behinds, case studies, white papers, videos, brochures, executive presentations, and digital campaigns.
Partner with designers, agencies, and freelancers to deliver high-quality creative assets that support sales, partnerships, conferences, customer communications, and product launches.
Ensure all marketing materials accurately reflect the company's value proposition, products, AI capabilities, and strategic direction.
Digital Marketing, Website & SEO
Own the strategy, content, performance, and ongoing optimization of the Clinlab.AI website, ensuring an exceptional user experience and alignment with commercial objectives.
Develop and execute SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies that improve organic visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
Monitor website performance, traffic, user behavior, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and lead generation, implementing data-driven improvements to maximize business impact.
Manage website content, landing pages, technical updates, and digital marketing initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Executive Communications & Thought Leadership
Partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop strategic messaging, keynote presentations, executive communications, investor materials, customer presentations, and company announcements.
Build Clinlab.AI's thought leadership strategy through white papers, blogs, educational content, webinars, calculators, industry insights, newsletters, LinkedIn, podcasts, and executive social media.
Position executives as recognized industry leaders by securing speaking opportunities, media interviews, podcast appearances, guest articles, and conference presentations.
Ensure executive messaging remains consistent across all public communications and marketing channels.
Public Relations & Social Media
Lead Clinlab.AI's public relations strategy by developing press releases, securing media coverage, coordinating product announcements, and managing award submissions and industry recognition opportunities.
Own the company's social media strategy, editorial calendar, and content performance across corporate and executive channels, monitoring reach, engagement, audience growth, and overall brand impact.
Build relationships with media outlets, journalists, industry influencers, professional organizations, and healthcare communities to expand Clinlab.AI's visibility and credibility.
Measure and report on marketing performance across public relations, social media, and digital campaigns while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Events & Partner Marketing
Develop and execute Clinlab.AI's conference and field marketing strategy, including sponsorships, booth experiences, speaking opportunities, event collateral, customer meetings, and post-event campaigns.
Lead strategic marketing initiatives with technology partners, healthcare organizations, and industry collaborators through joint campaigns, webinars, co-branded collateral, case studies, testimonials, and product launches.
Coordinate conference logistics, marketing materials, executive presentations, demonstrations, and customer engagement activities to maximize event ROI.
Identify opportunities to strengthen partner relationships and expand market reach through collaborative marketing initiatives.
Sales & Commercial Marketing
Develop marketing assets that support business development, including sales presentations, customer proposals, leave-behinds, ROI messaging, competitive positioning, executive briefing materials, and customer success stories.
Partner closely with sales leadership to support pipeline generation, strategic account pursuits, customer acquisition, and commercial growth initiatives.
Create messaging and collateral that clearly communicates Clinlab.AI's value proposition across target customer segments, strategic partnerships, and enterprise opportunities.
Support executive presentations for customers, investors, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.
Market Intelligence & Performance
Monitor competitor activity, healthcare and laboratory industry trends, customer feedback, AI advancements, and market developments to inform positioning, messaging, and future marketing initiatives.
Measure and report marketing performance across campaigns, website analytics, SEO/AEO, social media, events, partnerships, email marketing, public relations, and lead generation.
Develop executive dashboards that communicate marketing performance, business impact, and actionable recommendations.
Continuously evaluate marketing effectiveness using data-driven insights to improve awareness, engagement, conversion, and commercial outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as a strategic marketing advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, translating business priorities into coordinated marketing initiatives that support company growth.
Collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering, operations, customer success, and external agencies to ensure alignment across all marketing activities and customer touchpoints.
Manage external agencies, consultants, designers, writers, videographers, photographers, and other marketing vendors while maintaining quality, timelines, and budgets.
Manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining exceptional execution quality in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5-7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably in healthcare technology, AI, SaaS, diagnostics, laboratory medicine, or life sciences.
Demonstrated experience developing integrated marketing strategies that support brand growth, customer acquisition, and revenue generation.
Proven ability to build executive brands and thought leadership programs for founders and senior executives.
Strong experience managing websites, SEO, AEO, content marketing, digital marketing, public relations, conferences, and partner marketing initiatives.
Excellent writing, communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience managing multiple projects, agencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously.
Highly analytical with the ability to translate marketing data into actionable business recommendations.
Comfortable working directly with founders, CEOs, and executive leadership teams in a fast-paced startup environment with significant autonomy and ownership.
