Job Description:

Tikit is looking for a creative and strategic Content Writer to join our full-time, on-site team in Damascus.

We are looking for someone who does more than write. Someone who can come up with the Reel idea, develop the creative concept, write the script, and help turn it into content people want to watch.

What You'll Do

  • Develop creative ideas for Reels, sketches, social media content, and marketing campaigns.

  • Take a Reel from the initial idea to the final script, including the hook, concept, storyline, dialogue, and execution.

  • Write scripts for entertaining, educational, promotional, and indirect marketing content.

  • Create captions, hooks, campaign messages, and other social media copy.

  • Research brands, audiences, industries, and trends to create relevant content ideas.

  • Adapt content style, tone of voice, and messaging to different brands and target audiences.

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Design, and Production teams to turn ideas into finished content.

  • Participate in brainstorming and content planning sessions.

  • Create content for both the Syrian and Dubai markets.

  • Stay updated with social media trends and short-form video formats.

  • Participate in creative production when needed, including appearing on camera or representing the brand.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Content Writing, Copywriting, Creative Writing, or a related field.

  • Strong Arabic writing skills and good English proficiency.

  • Strong understanding of social media and short-form video content.

  • Ability to create original Reel ideas, not just write scripts.

  • Ability to turn an idea into a strong hook, concept, storyline, and script.

  • Good understanding of storytelling, audience attention, and social media trends.

  • Experience working with different industries, audiences, and brand voices.

  • Strong creative thinking and the ability to generate original ideas.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.
