Job Description:
About the Job
As our new private cloud facility pushes the boundaries of modern infrastructure, we are looking for a Network Operations Engineer who thrives at the intersection of classical hardware and software-defined logic. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate network tasks and provisioning using scripts and tools to support a dynamic cloud environment.
- Linux Networking Mastery: Manage and optimize networking within Linux, handling virtual switching, routing, and high-availability configurations.
- ITIL Process Alignment: Operate strictly within ITIL frameworks, documenting and managing all network changes, incidents, and problems.
- Security & Segmentation: Implement micro-segmentation, firewall rules, and VPNs to ensure tenant isolation.
- Performance Monitoring: Use telemetry tools to proactively monitor bandwidth, latency, and packet health, resolving bottlenecks.
- Disaster Recovery: Maintain and test failover and load-balancing strategies for maximum uptime.
