Cyber Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and monitor cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.

- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security risk analyses.

- Investigate security incidents, manage responses, and implement preventative measures.

- Monitor systems using SIEM tools and ensure timely detection of threats.

- Maintain firewalls, access controls, encryption standards, and secure configurations.

- Train staff on cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related technical field.

- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.

- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS controls.

- Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to respond quickly to incidents.

- Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are a strong advantage.

- Experience working in cybersecurity roles within IT companies or critical infrastructure.
