About the Role

VeraCodia is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth, develop strategic client relationships, and expand our presence in the Syrian market and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise sales, a deep understanding of banking, e-payments, telecom services, and digital transformation initiatives, and the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with telecom companies, banks (e-payments), and government entities involved in digital transformation projects.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, with a primary focus on mid-to-large enterprises in the Syrian market while exploring additional regional opportunities.
• Develop a solid understanding of both the technical and business aspects of banking, e-payments, and telecom services.
• Present and sell software solutions to both technical teams and business decision-makers.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B business development or enterprise software/IT sales.
• Proven experience working within banking (e-payments), telecom services, or government digital transformation sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the Syrian market, including business culture, client landscape, and market dynamics.
• Technically proficient with the ability to understand and discuss APIs, payment systems, and digital platforms (coding experience is not required).
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Availability to work full-time from VeraCodia's offices (remote work is not available).

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing professional network within Syrian telecom operators, banks, or government institutions.
• Experience participating in government tenders and public-sector bidding processes.
