About the Role:
Join aiXplain's mission to redefine how intelligent systems are built and deployed. As an Agent Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying production-grade agentic AI solutions using Python and aiXplain's platform.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can operate with high ownership, translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable agentic systems, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams. You will help shape best practices for multi-agent orchestration, tool integration, observability, and real-world enterprise AI deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and deploy production-ready AI agents using aiXplain's SDK and Studio tools
- Architect agent workflows, toolchains, and data flows within the agentic runtime to support complex use cases
- Drive best practices in agent design, including orchestration, memory/context handling, tool selection, guardrails, and performance optimization
- Debug, trace, and improve agent behavior using observability, evaluation, and validation systems
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Solutions, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-impact AI solutions
- Contribute to reusable frameworks, templates, and technical standards to improve development efficiency and solution quality
- Produce clear technical documentation and present solution designs, implementation decisions, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders
- Support deployment and continuous improvement of agentic systems in real-world enterprise environments
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field
- Strong professional experience in Python, including APIs, modular design, debugging, testing, and production development practices
- Experience designing and integrating with REST APIs, external tools, and service-based architectures
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative software development workflows
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, system design, and troubleshooting in production environments
- Experience working with AI/ML systems, including LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, or agentic architectures
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive projects from concept to deployment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-agent systems, orchestration frameworks, or agentic AI platforms
- Familiarity with vector databases, retrieval pipelines, and context management techniques
- Experience with cloud environments, serverless functions, or scalable deployment infrastructure
- Exposure to observability, evaluation, and validation frameworks for AI systems
- Experience building enterprise-grade AI applications or customer-facing technical solutions
