Product Engineer, AI

Job Description:

About CivCore

CivCore is on a mission to expand the world's capacity to build. We are unlocking construction of critical infrastructure by helping large firms catch mistakes in projects before they become million dollar projects. The world needs more highways, tunnels, dams, data centers and bridges. Current processes are detrimental to how much we can build, and CivCore is changing that.

About the Role

We believe construction is ready for disruption the same way software was disrupted 20 years ago with Github and today with AI. Construction firms are still using processes and software from the 90s, which leads to a large number of preventable delays and rework in projects.

We're building industry defining software that will stand the test of time and bring on new workflows to an industry that desperately needs them.

As a product engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the CTO to shape the next generation of construction software.

Responsibilities

  • Ship end-to-end product features that help unlock new capabilities for our construction firms
  • Deploy our product on our web platforms (AWS, Temporal, Railway, Supabase)
  • Maintain our web application (Typescript, React, NodeJS)
  • Document and share your work proactively with the team
  • Implement AI native capabilities into the platform (evals, agents, chat interface)

You may be a good fit if you have:

Strong full-stack engineering experience with design sensibility

  • Having shipped a product with a large number of business users
  • Ability to build with minimal design support
  • End to end engineering capabilities with distributed systems

Built agentic products

  • Agents come in all shapes and forms, having built any agentic software that's currently in use
  • Having knowledge of the latest AI models, methods and systems for launching agents in production

Are interested in construction

  • Re-imagining how an industry works requires deep empathy for our users, and having interest in construction is a must
  • No construction background is necessary
