Job Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in Linux to join our team. In this role, you will help manage our Linux servers, automate application deployments, and support our development team to ensure our systems run smoothly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Linux Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Debian).
• Automation & Scripting: Write scripts (Bash or Python) to automate daily system tasks and server setups.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Help create and maintain automated deployment pipelines for software updates.
• System Monitoring: Monitor server performance, uptime, and system logs to identify and fix issues early.
• Developer Support: Work closely with software developers to help them package, test, and deploy their applications.

Requirements

• Linux Skills: Strong hands-on experience with the Linux command line and system administration.
• Scripting: Basic proficiency in Bash or Python for automation.
• Containers: Familiarity with Docker for containerizing applications.
• CI/CD Tools: Basic knowledge of tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Networking Basics: Understanding of fundamental networking concepts (SSH, DNS, Firewalls, TCP/IP).
• Version Control: Experience using Git.

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Basic familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Introduction to configuration tools like Ansible.
