About the Role

• Role: Building management software for energy companies. The team is small, moves fast, and has made a lot of progress in the last year. They're looking for a senior engineer to join full time and take ownership of real product work from day one.
• You'll be working directly with the founders on a TypeScript/React/Node/Postgres codebase.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship features across the full stack (React frontend, Node backend, Postgres).
• Take features from rough idea to production, including design decisions along the way.
• Write clean, disciplined, well-structured code that the rest of the team can build on.
• Use AI tools to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Review code and help set engineering standards as the team grows.

What They're Looking For

• Strong Fundamentals: You understand how systems fit together, not just how to make a feature work.
• Experience building and shipping production software, ideally enterprise or B2B products.
• Comfortable with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Postgres.
• Structured, Disciplined Approach: Good habits matter more here than years of experience.
• Able to use AI-assisted development effectively.
• Conversational English (you'll be talking to the team daily).
• Available to work full time on UK hours (roughly 8:30am–5:30pm UK).

• Schedule: Full time from 10:30am–7:30pm (Monday to Friday), fully remote, based in Syria.
