About the Job 

We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to orchestrate our private cloud ecosystem. You will transform compute, networking, and storage into a seamless, self-service experience for customers, building automated multi-tenant cloud fabrics using modern standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Orchestration: Deploy and manage cloud management platforms (OpenStack, VMware Cloud Foundation, Nutanix Cloud Platform).
• PaaS & Container Management: Build scalable Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters for PaaS.
• SaaS Delivery: Architect infrastructure for high availability, multi-tenancy, and global performance.
• Automation & DevOps: Maintain IaC templates (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud-Init) for VM, container, and app deployment.
• ITIL Service Lifecycle: Contribute to ITIL Service Design and Transition, ensuring proper documentation and support.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement logging and monitoring via Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Configure RBAC and SSO for secure cloud access.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certifications:

  • COA, VMware VCP-CWP, or CKA/CKAD.

  • RHCE highly preferred.

  • ITIL Foundation required.

• Hard Skills:

  • Virtualization: KVM, ESXi, AHV.

  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Scripting/API Integration: Python or Go.

  • Cloud networking and SDN understanding.

  • CI/CD pipeline experience: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

• Experience & Soft Skills:

• 4+ years in systems engineering, 2+ in private/hybrid cloud.

• Bachelor's in CS, Software Engineering, or related.

• Strategic vision for interconnected cloud layers.
