Role Overview

We are seeking a technically strong and client-focused Key Account Manager with a sales engineering background. This role bridges technical solution design with client relationship management—ensuring both successful delivery and continuous account growth. You will act as a trusted technical advisor while driving long-term client value.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Engineering & Solution Design

  • Analyze client technical requirements and design tailored cybersecurity solutions
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ), technical proposals, and financial proposals
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) sessions to validate solutions

Account Ownership & Client Success

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key accounts
  • Ensure successful implementation and value realization of solutions
  • Maintain continuous engagement with technical and business stakeholders

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, IT Directors)
  • Develop deep understanding of client environments, challenges, and priorities
  • Position Defendlab as a long-term strategic partner

Account Growth & Expansion

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services
  • Support account planning and expansion strategies
  • Contribute to revenue growth within existing accounts

Renewals & Retention

  • Lead contract renewal processes and negotiations
  • Monitor client satisfaction and engagement levels
  • Ensure high retention rates and long-term account stability

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in:
    • Sales Engineering
    • Technical Account Management
    • Solution Design (Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, or Systems Integration)
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, identity management)
  • Solid understanding of networking and enterprise IT environments
  • Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts
  • Proven experience working with senior technical stakeholders (CISO, CIO, IT Directors)
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
